DB-Automation’s first ever Technology Event that took place on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th September 2016 was an outstanding success! There was a superb turnout and with so many interested people coming together to see the displays, it made all the preparation and organisation worthwhile.

The partners who came to show their displays and demonstrations were Dyne Technology Limited, KUKA Robotics UK Limited, Sepro Robotique Limited and Abtech Limited.
From at least one of our partners, we have had excellent news that directly following the event; orders were placed for new equipment for which we are incredibly grateful.
We know from the feedback we have had already, that the event has ignited some interest for our equipment and we look forward to the opportunity of working with those who we are talking to.

Mark Spiteri from Otter Controls commented “It was an extremely well organised event and everything was spot on, so thank you for the invite it is much appreciated. Please pass my regards to the team, I came away with the comfortable impression that you are a very professional organisation and this was reflected with some of the comments of your partner companies also”.

DB-Automation had not organised an agenda as such as we wanted visitors to feel welcomed and unrestricted in what they wanted to see first which allowed them to take a look around in their own time.

Attendees had the chance to talk to each of our partners and learn how their equipment could help them within their own production and businesses. This really gave a good opportunity for the partners to express exactly what they do in more detail and allow visitors to ask any questions or enquire about new equipment. It was very useful and practical to see the demonstrations taking place as we believe this is the best way to show off your capabilities and quality!

Also on display was DB-Automation’s latest multi cavity injection moulding automation machine which has now recently been shipped to the client.
As most people will know, DB-Automation design and manufacture bespoke injection moulding automation and we only supply robust and reliable equipment.
The feedback we received regarding the automation on display was excellent and it makes us proud as a team to be able to produce and offer such machinery that clients are extremely happy with.
It is important to note that even though this machine was one of the largest we have produced, we have many years of experience and knowledge in different areas and sizes of automation machinery.

The bowl feeder team at DB-Automation had on display some bowls and linear feeders which especially showed off their skills and talent. There was a lot of interest in this area and the visitors were really impressed with what they were shown. As with the automation, the bowl feeder team have much experience in this field. They assess and analyse components to determine how the part reacts in a vibratory bowl and from this information will present the best and effective way to feed and orientate that part. The linear feeders are an additional transfer system to use for the component to reach the next stage of the process.

We have always believed that the automation and bowl feeder businesses work well together and our Technology Event has helped to confirm this with companies interested in seeing both sides.

Upon the achievement of this event, we hope to be organising more occasions similar to this and help companies work together to encourage and develop success.
We would like to thank all the visitors, partners and the team at DB-Automation for making this the success it was.
